Chicken Shashlik

Ingredients :

  •   Boneless Chicken (3/4" cube cutting) 350-400 grams
  •   Onion (3/4" cube cutting) 1
  •   Capsicum (3/4" cube cutting) 1
  •   Tomato (3/4" cube cutting) 1
  •   Cooking Oil 2 tbsp
  •   Garlic Clove (Finally Chopped)
  •   Ginger (Finally Chopped) 1/2 tbsp
  •   Chili 1 
  •   Green onion (Just Green Part) 1
  •   Ketchup 1/2 cup
  •   Salt as required
  •   Corn Flour paste 2 tbsp
  •   Chicken Stock 1 cup
  •   White Vinegar 1 tbsp
  •   Chili Sauce 1 tbsp
  •   Shashlik Sticks 6
  •   Sugar 1/2 tbsp
  •   Worcestershire Sauce 1 tbsp

Method :

  • Skewer chicken,onion,tomato and capsicum till other end of stick is reached.
  • Continue and fill all 6 sticks.
  • Place oil in saucepan on medium heat and place shashlik   sticks to cook to a light golden brown.
  • Turn occasionally and place lid on saucepan for about 5   minutes and strain from oil.
  • In the same oil mix garlic and ginger for a minute.
  • Add green onion,chili,ketchup,worcestershire   sauce,sugar,chili sauce and chicken stock mix it for a minute.
  • Add corn flour paste and stir well then simmer for   2 minutes
  • Add shashlik sticks on top and spoon sauce over them.
  • Add salt and cover with lid for 5 minutes.
  • Add vinegar and serve it.


You can serve it with boiled rice or simple fried rice.
